In this blog I only want to add some more pictures from The National Reptile Zoo
Here are three monochrome images just to show the beautiful texture of reptile skin.
Unfortunately I won’t be online most of this week. Happy St Patrick’s Day next Friday! 😉
Have a wonderful weekend!
These are my favorite, perhaps because they are so paused and tranquil. What a great place and images Inese!
Thank you Maria! Wonderful place, I wish I had more time for visiting.
The photos are dreamlike, Inese. Beautiful with a hint of fairy magic.
Wishing you all a Happy St. Patrick’s Day!! 🍀
Thank you so much! Hope you had a wonderful St Patricks Day! 🙂
Wonderful photographs. Lucky that you got the snakes when they are active, usually they are sleeping when I visit the zoo. The black and white pics are great.. Happy St Patrick’s day to you, hope you have a fab time 🙂 xx
Thank you! The python was quite mellow.
Happy St Patrick’s Day to you too. Hope you had some celebrations 🙂 xx
The photos are gorgeous Inese! Reptiles are very fascinating, but I could do without the snakes. Happy St Patrick’s Day to you as well!
Thank you Antonia! St Patrick took a good care of snakes, thankfully 🙂
Wonderful photos of the reptiles, Inese. Interesting how much texture you highlighted with the b/w. Have a Happy St. Patrick’s Day!!
Thank you so much! Monochrome and the right light can do wonders 🙂
Gorgeous photography.. loved it ❤❤😊😊
Thank you! 🙂 xx
Incredible pictures, Inese – I love the last three especially!
Thank you so much! I just though they would look good in monochrome.
I never considered reptiles beautiful, but your monochrome photos prove me wrong. Mesmerizing! xo
Thank you Rose! 🙂 I love them, but I am terrified of the venomous snakes. Some species are moody and aggressive. Same like people 🙂 xxxx
Haha! Touche, darling. 😀
I loved the way the lizards, crocodile (?) or alligators, snakes, etc all seem to be curious about you and your photography.
Inese, thank you ❤ for sharing the beautiful, exquisite examples of reptiles and snakes!
Hope you have a happy St.Patrick's Day! 🍀🍀
Thank you Robin 🙂 I will be back on St Patrick’s Day – hope to see the Parade 🙂 xxxx
The black and whites are especially amazing xxxxxx
Thank you 🙂 xxxxxx
Timeless and effortlessly beautiful actually x
I just wanted to highlight their ancient nature and timeless beauty 😉 xx
You absolutely did xxxxxxx You never fail.
Thank you so much! xxxxxx
These are wonderful! I have been a reptile lover ever since my encounter with a horned toad one summer. Although I grew to like iguanas best 🙂
Thank you! 🙂 They are lovely when you have a closer look 🙂
Oooh! The 2nd b/w shot is just soooo brilliant! Love it!! And I forgot to mention in your last post: I love that yawning iguana 🙂 And the one being depicted doing what they´re doing most of the day 😉 I feel very connected to that, at least in spirit 😉 xxxxxxxxxx
Thank you Sarah! 🙂 I had a wonderful time in the Zoo. I went there in the middle of the week and there were only me and another two families. Had plenty of time to bond with the lizards xxxx
Oh, that sounds amazing! Whenever I go it looks more or less like there’s a sale going on 😉 xxxxx
You make lizards look nice enough to pet. For the record, I shriek in their presence, so that just shows how amazing your photos are. 🙂 xxxxxx
They are cute and love cuddles like any other creature 🙂
Exquisite photos, Inese! 🙂
Thank you Carol!
Exquisitely beautiful photos, Inese.
Thank you Rosaliene!
beautiful expression
of our reptilian
ancestors 🙂
Thank you 🙂 They have been on Earth a while 🙂
Cool! I’d like to visit there just for the “shudder” value.
You would love that 🙂
While the photos are all beautiful, I especially like the one showing a (young?) Komodo dragon and part of a sign. It looks like the lizard is lecturing about its species and using its tongue as a pointer.
Thank you! 🙂 There are many endangered species in the Reptile Zoo
top shots 😉
Thank you!
Excellent reportage again!
Imposing pictures, wow! Congrats 🙂
Thank you Eleazar! Hope to see another snake this week 🙂
