This picture is where I want to be right now. Instead, I am down with flu, and it is the first day since Tuesday that I feel well enough to switch on my computer, but still not well enough to do any work. I will share my almost forgotten project, and go back to bed.
From my previous post I get that none of you was ever afraid of the concept of eternity and the everlasting Universe. It surprises me, because the Cosmos felt like a scary place I didn’t want to think much about when I was very young. There was another thing that bothered me at that age. I only dreamed in colour, but my parents and friends dreamed in black & white.
I will share some city scenes where a splash of colour is added to the black and white images. It is what we do need sometimes.
Place where girls get a haircut, and guys get a free wi fi 🙂

Hope you are all well. Now I am taking my medicine and going back to bed.
Sweet dreams, all in colour 🙂
Have a great Sunday tomorrow!

Magic photos Inese but I’m really sorry to hear you’re not well. I hope you’re up and about and feeling chipper again soon.
xxx Gigantic Hugs xxx
David, I went to the post office and there was that sick woman, absolutely wrecked with cold. It was at 11 am, Tuesday. At 2pm, miles from home, I started feeling funny, my throat started getting sore. When I got home at about 5pm, I was a wreck, and so far I am slowly getting worse every day, coughing and sneezing my guts out 😦 Stay away from symptomatic people! Many hugs!xxxxxx
Dear Inese..bed and sleep..great photos love the colour through the alley ..Get well soon 🙂
Thank you so much! Sleeping and coughing is what I do since Tuesday night 😦 Take care! xx
Lovely pictures. I love black and whites with a splash of color. The one with the red bike is my favorite but I like them all. Feel better soon
Thank you so much, Lisa! I was not able to do any computer work, so I just used my old project – different ways to bring the color back in Photoshop 😉 This flu is wicked bad, stay away from sick people! xx
Well on the positive side, your illness has made you very creative !
Thank you so much, Lisa! Looks like I have to get sick more often to keep the blog creative 😉
🤒🎨
Inese I hope you feel better soon! Wonderful post by the way.
Thank you so much! It is all I could come up with in the poor state I am now 😦 Hope to get well by the end of the week, I really do.
Wishing you good health!
Thank you! Turned to the better today.
Wonderful!
Sweet dreams, Inese. Hoping the flu goes away and thank you for the colours in the details of life. : )
Thank you Francis! Today is the worst so far :(. Hope tomorrow it will start getting better.
I hope so as well. :S
I hope you feel better very soon! Take care!
Thank you so much, Pat! It is pretty severe. My brain hurts from coughing 😦
Yikes!!!! Hang in there!
Thank you! I think I am on the right side of the hill since today 🙂
Hope you’re on the mend. I love the choices you made in the color placement–unique sparks that inspire second, third glances. 🙂
Thank you Jean! I have this set of pictures as an example of different techniques to bring the color back. Thought I might use the pictures in this time of need – I am not able to do anything these days as the flu progresses. Horrible waste of time! Had so much to do these two weeks. Dang flu!
Dang flu indeed! All three kids are starting to come down with some sort of pesky sinus infection nonsense, so I’m just waiting for all three to be hit harder with something else. Time to stock up on buckets and meds… 😦
Oh no! Kiwis, lemons, honey and plenty of water might help.
I heard my neighbor from upstairs apartment sneeze all night. Looks like she has got the same thing as I have.
Oh dear. Lots of rest and hugs to you!
Thank you, hang in there! Hope you are all well by now.
Get well soon!!!
Thank you so much!!!
Get well soon Inese!
Thank you so much, Maria!
Get well. Imagine how much more you could have posted if you were not ill! Love those photos. But for now, go back to bed…
Thank you so much! I have been to some places around Waterford, Kilkenny and Laois, but I have no energy to process the pictures and do research. Sleeping and coughing is all I do 😦
Wonderful pictures with selective colors and the one with so colorful (I really like the umbrella picture).
I hope you feeling well soon.
Thank you so much! I took a snap of these umbrellas just for fun and didn’t plan to use them ever 🙂
Feel better! 😊
Thank you so much! Really hope to get better next week.
Love the splashes of color! Feel better soon!
Thank you! Wicked flu got me this time 😦 Coughing and sleeping is all I do.
Oh, I’m so sorry! That is such a horrible feeling. Rest and more rest for you.
Thank you! Yes, I will answer the comments and go to bed again 😦 What a misery 😦
😦
Sorry you are ill. Get better soon.
Thank you so much! xx
Get well. I really like the look of those photos with all but a bit de-saturated. Very nice. Cheers!
Thank you! This set is just an example of different techniques, but I though I could use them this time :). Have no energy to do any work these days, coughing makes me exhausted.
Sorry, my blogging friend! Praying you will soon be well! What was the policeman doing beside the hair salon? 🙂
Thank you! I think it was a road worker, he was flirting with a young photographer, my companion 🙂 I used these pictures out of despair because I am not able to do any work these days.
It was a nice shot! I am kind of in the same spot. I am thinking of going back and posting things from our India trip, two years ago! I get a few shots in these days. tc
I would be very interested in reading about your trip. It doesn’t matter when it took place. Your insight matters.
I will also try to get a trip review together for you. It is the kind of trip that can be a disaster or “trip of a lifetime” depending on what you know ahead of time.
Success of any trip lies in research and preparation 🙂
Are you planning a trip to India?
No, but I wish I would, because there is a place that I would love to visit – Nicholas Roerich house in Kullu Valley.
That sounds like an interesting place. Is it the photos, paintings, or the man that interest you in the place?
The man, his paintings and his philosophy 🙂
I really love this inese
What a beautiful idea
So sorry your down with the flu
But maybe it was time for you to rest
My body is doing the same thing rite now
Sheldon
Oh Sheldon, the spring time is high risk 😦 I was in contact with a symptomatic person for just a minute, and after three hours my own flu had set in 😦
Dear Inese, I’m so sorry you are unwell. 😦 Don’t even think about replying tonight. Get all the rest and sleep you can.
I was intrigued by what you said about your family dreaming BW and you in color. I’ve heard many (maybe most?) people dream in BW. As a very small child, before my family had a color TV, sometimes I would dream in BW (but color as well), but never after we got a color TV. I’ve only had a couple of BW dreams and they were meant to be antique newsreel footage. (Yes, I have bizarre dreams! 😀 )
I love your colorful floating umbrellas. Take good care of you. Feel fabulous fast. Mega hugs my friend.
Thank you so much, Teagan! I have read that indeed it is somehow related to the color TV, and these days about 88% of population dream in color. I had colorful dreams way before we got a color TV, and I think it was because of me being alone in the woods for hours every day and paying attention to every little thing. When I was in primary I read in my mother’s book that color dreams indicate mental illness. It upset me and I started asking people and did learn that they had b&w dreams! So that means that before the color TV most of people did dream b&w and now most of people dream color. Many hugs!!!xxxxxx
Ms Inese … turn off computer … go to bed … worry about a good book later.
g
Thank you so much! Yes, it is what I am doing since Tuesday nigh – sleep, cough, and sleep again. Wicked flu 😦
Get well soon! Lovely pictures…
Thank you Michelle! Going to bed, not feeling well. xx
Sorry for that… hang in there… ❤
Thank you! Flu is raging in town 😦
Oh no! 😷
