I apologize for the silence.
To keep the blog looking updated, I add some more November pictures of a spectacular flood of the River Suir.

On the following day the rain ceased and the flooded area slightly shrank and was disconnected from the river. It will eventually dry up in summer.

The river remains swollen and the walking trail flooded.

Heron doesn’t mind.

Thank you for your kind support.
Have a wonderful week!
Great work, still using Nikon? The technique works so well
Thank you so much, Maria! Sorry for the late reply. Had a difficult couple of months. Yes, still Nikon. I don’t use the multiple exposure too often, but such was the mood 🙂
Great pictures. I especially loved the one of the bench just sitting there in the flooded waters. It spoke to me.
Thank you so much Michele! ❤
Nice moody colors. I guess you got our rain – we’ve had our driest November in 75 years…
Thank you Dave! Sorry for the late reply.
So beautiful, as your photos always are 😉
Thank you Lelia! ❤
What fantastic pictures of flooding. Water makes for such unique beauty. Just loved these!!! Thank you!
Thank you so much! ❤
Autumn splendor, rain included.
Thank you! ❤
Unas imágenes impresionantes y hermosas que sirven como testimonio de una Naturaleza que debemos respetar mucho más de lo que actualmente hacemos. ¡Enhorabuena!
Gracias Julio!
Wow! Beautiful Autumn images though.
Thank you so much! ❤
Gorgeous pictures as always!
I was scrolling down wondering where was the bird this time 😀 You found it one more time 😉
Cheers!!
Thank you! 🙂 No other birds around, believe me I was looking for them 🙂
I’m sure about it 😉
Beautiful dreamy pictures Inese, but I hope everything is okay there and everyone alright.
Thank you, Andrea. Yes, everything is all right, no damage done. The rainfall stopped just in time, and we had a dry week afterwards. Will see what December will bring 🙂
Your photos are really beautiful. Love the colours x
Thank you, Gil! Sorry for the late reply x
Great photos, but I wish people would stop writing ” the river burst it’s banks”. It overflows it’s banks to be accurate! No need for words, your pictures say it all.
Thank you!
Heron says, “Water is water. The important question is, are there any fishies?” 😀
Heron must feel confused as he is walking on the flooded foot path right now. The river is too deep for him, and catching his food could be a problem…
Is this normal for this time of year?
Great shots, Inese!
xo
Thank you, Resa. Yes, the flooding happens after every serious rainfall. This time half of the park was flooded; sometimes the water reaches the road. No damage this time, only fun 🙂
I adore so much the reflections, and the colors are very kind. Lovely Autumn, Inese. A smile from far away : )
Thank you, Francis. Reflections were amazing since the trees were standing in the water, and the light was just right. I was in awe. However, when the rain started again I preferred to leave, just in case 🙂 The ground was soaked with water.
Beautiful photos. The power of the water is a wonder. I hope you are well. Take care. ♥
Thank you, Olga. Sorry for the late reply. Was difficult two months.
Hi Inese. Was wondering about you… (everything all right?)
That is a spectacular flood.
Take care
B.
Thank you! Take care you too. Hope all is well.
Yeah. Mostly well. How about you?
Amazing photos. That’s quite a flood.
Thank you! It looks quite spectacular, and will dry soon.
Beautiful photos, Inese. I live in flood country and ours, I’m afraid, aren’t so pretty. I hope no one was hurt by the waters and that they’ve receded without too much damage. Your camera and artist’s eye were clearly spared. ❤
Thank you so much, Diana. This flood was quite tame 🙂 It is only November though. I had no idea the whole park was flooded. I didn’t see any cars in the car park, which was strange. Soon I knew why 🙂 I am so sorry that your floods are not pretty… Hope no houses are damaged this winter.
Hope all is well. I haven’t been to your blog long time… ❤
No worries, my friend. Enjoy the season of peace.
It is always a pleasure to find one of your posts anytime! Photos are lovely. I hope all is well with you.
Thank you so much! Getting there.
