The Living Planet Aquarium

Living Planet Aquarium

Humans are fascinated with water and water creatures. Growing up on a lake in 1960-s is my favorite memory; it certainly influenced my choice of academic studies and my life in general.

Right now I am on holidays and we are doing a bit of traveling around. This Wednesday we went to the aquarium. They say there are 2,484 animals on display which I cannot exactly confirm, but there are lots of things to see, and the place is something that you will enjoy visiting.

    1. No Jean, I didn’t use any flash – it would reflect from the glass. I just boosted up ISO and shutter speed – the fishes are moving fast. Nothing else. I must have had ISO at 3200 in those conditions. Didn’t use my tripod either – it would look too professional 🙂

    1. Thank you Sheri! I actually didn’t try too much to make a great picture, I was just having fun:) I would stay there for hours:)

  1. You would of thought you where staring at some real natural north pole place where the pinguins are in the wild if it wasn´t for the fact that you actually there was a window there. The background is realistic is what I´m trying to say. You guys seemed to have a ball there. And hey, not only for kids….I´d like to go there.
